SEBI Introduces Stricter Disclosure Norms for Foreign Portfolio Investors

To curb round-tripping of funds and improve market transparency, SEBI has implemented new disclosure guidelines. Any FPI holding concentrated shares in a single corporate group must provide identity papers of all beneficial owners.
