New E-invoicing Deadlines Announced for Small Businesses

The Ministry of Finance has announced the final phase of e-invoicing roll-out. The threshold limit for compulsory e-invoice generation under GST will be reduced to ₹2 Crores with effect from July 1, 2026.

Businesses falling under this category are advised to update their ERP systems, integrate with authorized Invoice Registration Portals (IRPs), and train billing departments to prevent transactional disruptions.
